TAXATION LAWS AMENDMENT ACT (No. 5) 1990 No. 135 of 1990 - SECT 2

2. (1) Subject to this section, this Act commences on the day on which it
receives the Royal Assent.

(2) Part 4 commences on the 28th day after the day on which this Act receives
the Royal Assent.

(3) Subsections 38 (3) and 39 (2) and the amendments made by Part 3 of the
Schedule commence on 1 July 1993.

(4) If the date of commencement of the Taxation Laws Amendment (Foreign 
Income) Act 1990 is a later day than the date of commencement of this section,
subsections 38 (4) and 39 (3) and the amendments made by Part 4 of the
Schedule commence at the commencement of that Act.
