TERTIARY EDUCATION COMMISSION ACT 1977 No. 25 of 1977 - SECT 24

24. (1) The Advanced Education Council shall consist of-

   (a)  the Commissioner referred to in paragraph 10 (1) (c), who shall be the
        Chairman of the Council; and

   (b)  8 other members, not being Commissioners or members of the
        Universities Council or the Technical and Further Education Council.

(2) The members referred to in paragraph (1) (b) shall be appointed by the
Governor-General.

(3) In paragraph (1) (a), the reference to the Commissioner referred to in
paragraph 10 (1) (c) shall, if a person is acting in the place of that
Commissioner, be read as a reference to that person.
