TRANSPORT (PLANNING AND RESEARCH) ACT 1974 No. 50, 1974 - SECT 18

18. (1) The Minister may, either generally or otherwise as provided by the
instrument of delegation, by writing under his hand, delegate to an officer of
the Australian Public Service any of his powers under section 5 or 6.

(2) A power so delegated may be exercised in accordance with the instrument of
delegation.

(3) A delegate of the Minister in the exercise of his powers under this Act is
subject to the directions of the Minister.

(4) A delegation under this section is revocable at will and does not prevent
the exercise of a power by the Minister.
