TRANSPORT AND COMMUNICATIONS LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1990 No. 11 of 1991 - SECT 19

19. Section 98 of the Principal Act is amended:

   (a)  by omitting from paragraph (3) (o) "and";

   (b)  by adding at the end of subsection (3) the following word and
        paragraph:
     "; and (q)   enabling a person who is alleged to have
contravened a specified provision of the regulations to pay to the Authority,
as an alternative to prosecution, a specified penalty, not exceeding an amount
equal to one-fifth of the maximum penalty prescribed for contravening that
provision.".
