TELECOMMUNICATIONS AMENDMENT ACT 1988 No. 121 of 1988 - SECT 6

6. Section 4 of the Principal Act is repealed and the following sections are
substituted: Australian Telecommunications Corporation

"4. The Australian Telecommunications Commission is, by this section,
preserved, and continued in existence, under the name of the Australian
Telecommunications Corporation. Corporation is body corporate etc.

"4A. The Corporation:

   (a)  continues to be a body corporate;

   (b)  shall have a seal;

   (c)  may acquire, hold and dispose of real and personal property; and

   (d)  may sue and be sued in its corporate name.".
