TELECOMMUNICATIONS (INTERCEPTION) AMENDMENT ACT 1987 No. 89 of 1987 - SECT 19

19. Section 30 of the Principal Act is amended:
(a) by omitting from paragraph (3) (b) "of the Commission"; and

   (b)  by adding at the end the following subsection:

"(4) As soon as practicable after making to an officer of the Commission a
request under, or purporting to be under, subsection (1) or (2), a member of a
police force shall give, or cause another member of a police force to give, to
the Managing Director a written confirmation of the request that sets out the
information given by the first-mentioned member to that officer in connection
with the request.".
