1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Telecommunications (Interception) 
Amendment Act 1987 .

(2) The Telecommunications (Interception) Act 1979*1* is in this Act referred
to as the Principal Act. (Minister's second reading speech made in - House of
Representatives on 30 April 1987 Senate on 4 June 1987)
