TELECOMMUNICATIONS ACT 1989No. 53, 1989 - SECT 139

139. For the purposes of this Act, where, immediately before the commencement
of section 128, there was in force a licence (by whatever name called) given
by a carrier to a person for the performance of work that is cabling work:

   (a)  the licence shall be taken, on that commencement, to be a cabling
        licence issued under this Division, being a cabling licence that
        includes the conditions (if any) to which the first-mentioned licence
        was subject immediately before that commencement; and

   (b)  the person to whom the first-mentioned licence was given shall be
        taken, on that commencement, to be the licensee in respect of that
        cabling licence.
