SOCIAL SECURITY LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1986 No. 33, 1986 - SECT 9

9. (1) Section 33 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from paragraph
(2) (a) "4 weeks in any period of 12 months" and substituting "28 days in any
calendar year".

(2) Section 33 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting paragraph (d) of
the definition of "relative" in sub-section (3) and substituting the following
paragraph:

"(d) a person who, by virtue of paragraph (a) or (b), has at any time been
taken into account as a relative of the first-mentioned person for the purpose
of the first-mentioned person becoming qualified to receive a carer's
pension;".
