SOCIAL SECURITY AND VETERANS' AFFAIRS LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1990 No. 56, 1990 - SECT 9

Unemployment benefits
9. Section 116 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting subsection (6B) and
substituting the following subsection:

"(6B) For the purposes of subsection (6A), a person has a sufficient reason
for moving to a new place of residence if, and only if:

   (a)  the person moves to live with a family member who has already
        established his or her residence in that place of residence; or

   (b)  the person moves to live near a family member who has already
        established residence in the same area; or

   (c)  the person satisfies the Secretary that the move is necessary for the
        purpose of treating or alleviating a physical disease or illness
        suffered by the person or by a family member.".
