SOCIAL SECURITY AND REPATRIATION (BUDGET MEASURES) AMENDMENT ACT 1985 No. 127, 1985 - SECT 4

4. Section & of the Principal Act is amended -

   (a)  by omitting sub-section (1) and substituting the following subsection:

"(1) The purposes of this Act are to encourage and assist -

   (a)  the provision of suitable homes for eligible persons, being homes at
        which eligible persons may reside in conditions approaching as nearly
        as practicable normal domestic life; and

   (b)  the provision of accommodation at which respite care services may be
        provided for eligible persons."; and

   (b)  by omitting from sub-section (2) "purpose" and substituting "purpose".
