SOCIAL SERVICES AMENDMENT ACT (No. 3) 1976 No. 111, 1976 - SECT 38

38. Section 132 of the Principal Act is amended-

(a) by omitting from sub-section (1) the word ''weekly'' and sub- stituting
the word ''fortnightly''; and

   (b)  by omitting sub-section (2) and substituting the following
        subsection:-

''(2) Where a benefit is payable in respect of any period less than a
fortnight, the benefit shall be payable in respect of each day, other than a
Saturday or Sunday, in that period, and the amount of the benefit payable in
respect of each day, other than a Saturday or Sunday, shall be one-fifth of
the weekly rate of the benefit.''.
