SOCIAL SERVICES AMENDMENT ACT (No. 3) 1976 No. 111, 1976 - SECT 28

28. Section 80 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting paragraph (a) of
sub-section (1) and substituting the following paragraph:-

''(a) she shall, so long as she remains an inmate of a benevolent home, be
paid-

        (i)    unless an allowance under Division 3A is payable to her-so much
               of her pension as does not exceed an amount per annum equal to
               one-third of the maximum rate of age pension specified in
               paragraph (a) of sub-section (1A) of section 28, or, if that
               amount per annum is not a multiple of $2.60 per annum, the next
               higher amount per annum that is such a multiple; or

        (ii)   if an allowance under Division 3A is payable to her-so much of
               her pension as does not exceed the sum of an amount per annum
               equal to one-third of the maximum rate of age pension referred
               to in sub-paragraph (i) and an amount per annum equal to
               one-fifth of the rate of that allowance specified in paragraph
               (a) of sub-section (2A) of section 65A, or, if the sum of those
               amounts per annum is not a multiple of $2.60 per annum, the
               next higher amount per annum that is such a multiple;''.
