SOCIAL SERVICES AMENDMENT ACT 1979 No. 121, 1979 - SECT 42

42. Section 124 of the Principal Act is amended-

(a) by omitting ''The Director-General may'' and substituting ''Subject to
sub-section (2), the Director-General may''; and

   (b)  by adding at the end thereof the following sub-section:

''(2) A special benefit is not payable to a person in respect of a period if
the person is not qualified to receive an unemployment benefit in respect of
that period by reason of sub-section (4) of section 107.''.
