SOCIAL SERVICES AMENDMENT ACT 1978 No. 128, 1978 - SECT 24

24. Section 95 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting sub-sections (1A),
(2) and (3) and substituting the following sub-sections:

''(2) The rate of endowment payable to an endowee, being a person other than
an institution, in respect of a child is-

   (a)  where the child is the only child in respect of whom endowment is
        payable to the endowee, or where there are two or more such children
        and the child is the elder or eldest of them-$15.20 per month;

   (b)  where there are two or more children in respect of whom endowment is
        payable to the endowee and the child is the younger or second eldest
        of them-$21.70 per month;

   (c)  where there are three or more children in respect of whom endowment is
        payable to the endowee and the child is the third or fourth eldest of
        them-$26 per month; and

   (d)  where there are five or more children in respect of whom endowment is
        payable to the endowee and the child is not one of the four eldest of
        them-$30.35 per month.

''(3) The rate of endowment payable to an endowee, being an institution, in
respect of a child is $21.70 per month.''.
