SOCIAL SERVICES ACT (No. 3) 1975 No. 110, 1975 - SECT 15

15. Section 140 of the Principal Act is amended-

   (a)  by inserting in sub-section (2), after the word ''Act'' (first
        occurring), the words ''(other than sub-section (3) of
        this section)'';

   (b)  by omitting from sub-section (2) the words '', a maternity allowance
        under Part V or child endowment under Part VI'' and substituting the
        words ''or a maternity allowance under Part V''; and

   (c)  by adding at the end thereof the following sub-section:-

''(3) An amount referred to in sub-section (2) that has been paid otherwise
than by way of child endowment under Part VI shall not be deducted from child
endowment payable under Part VI.''.
