SOCIAL SECURITY (ADMINISTRATION) ACT 1999 - SECT 19

Time limits
(1)
A claim for maternity allowance must be made within 26 weeks after the birth of the child to whom the claim relates.

(2)
A claim for maternity immunisation allowance must be made before the child to whom the claim relates:

(a)
reaches the age of 2 years; or

(b)
would have reached that age if the child had not died.

(3)
If a claim referred to in subsection (1) or (2) is made after the time fixed by that subsection, the claim is taken not to have been made.
