SOCIAL SECURITY ACT 1991 No. 46, 1991 - SECT 799

799. If:

   (a)  a person lodges a claim for a special needs pension on a particular
        day
(in this section called the "claim day"); and

   (b)  the person's provisional commencement day is before the claim day; any
        instalment of special needs pension that would, but for this section,
        be payable, is payable to the person:

   (c)  if the claim day was a pension payday - on that day; or

   (d)  the first pension payday after the claim day.
