SOCIAL SECURITY ACT 1991 No. 46, 1991 - SECT 519

Relief from work test - certain persons over 55 in employment
519. A person is taken to satisfy the work test in respect of a period if:

   (a)  throughout the period:

        (i)    the person is at least 55; and

        (ii)   the person is in employment that commences on or after 1
               January 1990; and

        (iii)  the person earns at least 35;pc of average male
               full-time weekly earnings from that employment; and

   (b)  the person has been a qualified beneficiary for at least 12 months
        immediately before commencing that employment.
