SOCIAL SECURITY ACT 1991 No. 46, 1991 - SECT 43

43. (1) A person is qualified for an age pension if the person:

   (a)  has turned:

   (i)  if the person is a woman - 60; or

   (ii) if the person is a man - 65; and

   (b)  has 10 years qualifying Australian residence.
Note: for "qualifying Australian residence" see section 7.

(2) Subsection (1) has effect subject to sections 1218 and 1219 (departure
certificate requirements for people leaving Australia).
