269. A person's sole parent pension rate is worked out using:

   (a)  if the person is qualified for sole parent pension because of
        subparagraph 249 (1) (a) (iv) (illness separation) - Pension Rate
        Calculator A at the end of section 1064 (see Part 3.2); or

   (b)  in any other case - Pension Rate Calculator C at the end of section
        1066 (see Part 3.4).
