SOCIAL SECURITY ACT 1991 No. 46, 1991 - SECT 1269

1269. (1) The National Convener may ask the Secretary to exercise the
Secretary's powers under section 1304 if the National Convener is satisfied
that a person has information, or has custody or control of a document, that
is relevant to the review of the decision. Note: under section 1304, the
Secretary can, for the purposes of this Act, require a person to provide
information or produce documents.

(2) The Secretary must take all reasonable steps to comply with the request
and must, if at all practicable, do so within 7 days after receiving the
request.
