SOCIAL SECURITY ACT 1991 No. 46, 1991 - SECT 116
Payment into bank account etc.
116. (1) The Secretary may direct that the whole or a part of the amount of a
person's invalid pension is to be paid, at the intervals that the Secretary
specifies, to the credit of an account with a bank, credit union or building
society.
(2) The account must be an account nominated and maintained by the person to
whom the invalid pension is payable.
(3) The account may be an account that is maintained by a person to whom the
invalid pension is payable jointly or in common with another person.
(4) If the Secretary gives a direction under subsection (1), the invalid
pension is to be payable in accordance with the direction.
