SOCIAL SERVICES ACT 1974 No. 2, 1974 - SECT 2

2. (1) Subject to sub-section (2), this Act shall come into operation on the
day on which it receives the Royal Assent.*

(2) Sections 18 and 20 shall come into operation on a date to be fixed by
Proclamation.
