SOUTH PACIFIC NUCLEAR FREE ZONE TREATY ACT 1986 No. 140, 1986 - SECT 17

17. (1) Provision for the imposition and maintenance of safeguards in relation
to nuclear material, pursuant to Australia's obligations under Articles 4 and
8 of, and Annex 2 to, the Treaty, is made in the Nuclear Non-Proliferation
(Safeguards) Act 1986.

(2) Sub-section (1) does not derogate from the operation of the Nuclear
Non-Proliferation (Safeguards) Act 1986.
(3) In this section, "nuclear material" has the same meaning as in the Nuclear
Non-Proliferation (Safeguards) Act 1986.
