STATUTE LAW (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT (No. 1) 1985 No. 65, 1985 - SECT 14

Operation of amendment of Patents Act 1952
14. Notwithstanding the amendment of sub-section 133 (3) of the Patents Act
1952 made by this Act, that sub-section as in force immediately before the
commencement of that amendment continues to apply, after that commencement, to
a person who-

   (a)  was registered as a patent attorney immediately before that
        commencement; or

   (b)  was not registered as a patent attorney immediately before that
        commencement, but had, before that commencement, passed in one or more
        subjects of the prescribed examination, as if that amendment had not
        been made.
