STATUTE LAW (MISCELLANEOUS AMENDMENTS) ACT (No. 1) 1982 No. 26, 1982 - SECT 188

188. Section 176 of the Principal Act is amended -

   (a)  by inserting after sub-section (1) the following sub-section:



"(1A) Without limiting the generality of sub-section (1), different fees may
be prescribed in respect of the doing of an act, or the taking of a step,
according to the time at which the act is done or the step taken, as the case
may be."; and

   (b)  by adding at the end thereof the following sub-section:



"(5) The regulations may make provision for the remission of, or for exempting
persons from the payment of, the whole or any part of a fee.".
