SECURITIES INDUSTRY ACT 1980 No. 66, 1980 - SECT 29
Reports of investigations
29. (1) Where an investigation is being carried out by an inspector appointed
pursuant to a direction other than a prescribed direction, the inspector may,
and if so directed by the Commission shall, make interim reports to the
Commission, and, on the completion or termination of the investigation, the
inspector shall report to the Commission his opinion on or in relation to the
matters that he has investigated, together with the facts on which his opinion
is based.
(2) Where an investigation is being carried out by an inspector appointed
pursuant to a prescribed direction, the inspector may, and if so directed by
the relevant authority shall, make interim reports to the relevant authority
and, on the completion or termination of the investigation, the inspector
shall report to the relevant authority his opinion on or in relation to the
matters that he has investigated, together with the facts on which his opinion
is based.
(3) Where an investigation is being carried out by the Commission, the
Commission may, and if so directed by the relevant authority shall, make
interim reports to the relevant authority and, on the completion or
termination of the investigation, the Commission shall report to the relevant
authority its opinion on or in relation to the matters that it has
investigated, together with the facts upon which its opinion is based.
