STATES GRANTS (URBAN PUBLIC TRANSPORT) ACT 1974 No. 45, 1974 - SECT 4

4. (1) The payments by Australia to a State provided for in the agreement
referred to in section 3, including payments by way of advances by Australia
under the agreement, may be made to the State, by way of financial assistance,
on the terms and conditions contained in the agreement out of moneys
appropriated by this Act or out of moneys appropriated by a subsequent Act for
the purposes of the agreement.

(2) For the purposes of this Act, there may be paid out of the Consolidated
Revenue Fund, which is hereby appropriated accordingly, the sum of
$71,910,000.
