STATES GRANTS (GENERAL PURPOSES) ACT 1994 No. 122, 1994 - SECT 7

7. The population factor for a grant year is the factor worked out using the
formula:
total estimated population
(grant year)
estimated total population
(previous year) where:

"total estimated population (grant year)" means the sum of the estimated
populations of the States on 31 December in the grant year (see subsection
8(1));

"estimated total population (previous year)" means the estimated total
population of the States on 31 December in the previous year (see subsection
8(2)).
