STATES GRANTS (GENERAL PURPOSES) ACT 1994 No. 122, 1994 - SECT 6

6. The index factor for a grant year is the factor worked out using the
formula:
grant year index numbers
previous year index numbers where:

"grant year index numbers" means the sum of the index numbers for the grant
year calculation quarters;

"previous year index numbers" means the sum of the index numbers for the
previous year calculation quarters.
