Approvals and determinations under Principal Act.
6. An approval given under sub-section 4 (1) of the Principal Act, or a
determination made under paragraph 6 (2) (a) or (b), 12 (2) (a) or (b) or 12
(6) (a) or (b) of the Principal Act, and in force immediately before the
commencement of this Act shall, by force of this section, cease to have effect
upon the commencement of this Act, but this section shall not be taken to
affect the previous operation of the approval or determination, as the case
may be. Payments made before Royal Assent.
7. Payments made to a State under the Principal Act before the date on which
this Act receives the Royal Assent shall be deemed to have been made for the
purposes of the Principal Act as amended by this Act. PART III-AMENDMENTS OF
THE STATES GRANTS (ADVANCED EDUCATION ASSISTANCE)
ACT 1976 Principal Act.
8. The States Grants (Advanced Education Assistance) Act 1976*3* is in this
Part referred to as the Principal Act. Schedule 1.
9. Schedule 1 to the Principal Act is repealed and the following Schedule
substituted:-

Approvals and determinations under Principal Act.
12. An approval given under sub-section 4 (1) of the Principal Act or a
determination made under paragraph 6 (2) (a) or (b), 8 (2) (a) or (b) or 8 (6)
(a) or (b) of the Principal Act shall, by force of this section, cease to have
effect upon the commencement of this Act, but this section shall not be taken
to affect the previous operation of the approval or determination, as the case
may be. Payments made before Royal Assent.
13. Payments made to a State under the Principal Act before the date on which
this Act receives the Royal Assent shall be deemed to have been made for the
purposes of the Principal Act as amended by this Act.
