20. Payments (including advances) by way of financial assistance made to a
State under the States Grants (Universities) Act (No. 2) 1972 or under that
Act as amended and in force at any time before the date on which this Act
receives the Royal Assent shall be deemed to have been made for the purposes
of the Principal Act as amended by this Act.
