STATES GRANTS (SCHOOLS) ACT 1976 No. 35, 1976 - SECT 59

59. The Minister may, with the concurrence of the Treasurer, make arrangements
for the making to a State, by way of financial assistance to the State, of
advances on account of an amount that is expected to become payable under
this Act to the State, and the conditions that would be applicable to a
payment of the amount are applicable to any such advance.
