SENATE ELECTIONS (QUEENSLAND) ACT 1982 No. 31, 1982 - SECT 2
Choosing of Senators for Queensland
2. (1) Senators for the State of Queensland shall be directly chosen by the
people of that State voting as one electorate.
(2) The Parliament of the State of Queensland may not make laws pursuant to
section 7 of the Constitution dividing that State into divisions and
determining the number of senators to be chosen for each division.
