REGISTRATION OF DEATHS ABROAD ACT 1984 No. 169, 1984 - SECT 14

Registration prohibited in certain circumstances

14. (1) A registering officer shall not register a death under this Act if he
knows, or has reason to believe, that the death has already been registered
under this Act.

(2) A registering officer, other than the Registrar, shall not register a
death under this Act if he knows, or has reason to believe, that an
application for the registration of the death under this Act has been refused
by another registering officer.
