RACIAL DISCRIMINATION ACT 1975 No. 52, 1975 - SECT 29

PART VI-ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS

Division 1-Commissioner for Community Relations
29. (1) The Commissioner shall be appointed by the Governor-General.

(2) The Commissioner-

   (a)  is a corporation sole by the name of the Commissioner for Community
        Relations;

   (b)  has perpetual succession;

   (c)  shall have an official seal; and

   (d)  is capable, in his corporate name, of acquiring, holding and disposing
        of real and personal property and of suing and being sued.

(3) All courts, judges and persons acting judicially shall take judicial
notice of the seal of the Commissioner affixed to a document and shall presume
that it was duly affixed.
