RESOURCE ASSESSMENT COMMISSION ACT 1989 No. 94, 1989 - SECT 60

60. (1) The Principal Act is amended as set out in Schedule 2.

(2) The amendments made by subsection (1) only apply if the Honourable Donald
Gerard Stewart is appointed the first Chairperson but, if they do so:

   (a)  the amendments of subsection 7 (2) of the Principal Act shall be taken
        to have applied before he ceased to be Chairman of the National Crime
        Authority; and

   (b)  he shall not be taken to have become entitled to a payment referred to
        in subsection 7 (4) of the Principal Act because of his so ceasing.
