PLANT VARIETY RIGHTS ACT 1987 No. 2, 1987 - SECT 44

44. (1) There is established by this Act a Committee by the name of the
Plant Variety Rights Advisory Committee.

(2) The functions of the Advisory Committee are-

   (a)  at the request of the Minister, to advise the Minister on the
        desirability of a genus or species being declared by the regulations
        to be a genus or species to which this Act applies; and

   (b)  to advise the Secretary on such technical matters arising under this
        Act, and such other matters relating to the administration of this
        Act, as the Secretary refers to the Advisory Committee.
