PUBLIC SERVICE LEGISLATION (STREAMLINING) ACT 1986 No. 153, 1986 - SECT 9

9. (1) Section 12A of the Principal Act is amended-
(a) by omitting "Governor-General" (wherever occurring) and substituting

"Prime Minister"; and
(b) by omitting "Chairman" (wherever occurring) and substituting "Head of the
Public Service Board".

(2) An appointment by the Governor-General under section 12A of the Principal
Act that was in force immediately before the commencement of this section
shall, after that commencement, be deemed to be an appointment by the Prime
Minister under section 12A of the Public Service Act 1922.
