POSTAL SERVICES AMENDMENT ACT 1988 No. 126, 1988 - SECT 33

33. (1) If section 10 of this Act commences before section 12 or 14 of the
Telecommunications Amendment Act 1988, the Telecommunications (Interception)
Act 1979 has effect, after the commencement of section 10 of this Act and
until the commencement of section 12 or 14 of that second-mentioned Act, as if
paragraph (b) of the definition of "officer of the Commission" were amended by
omitting "Australian Postal Commission" (twice occurring) and substituting

"Australian Postal Corporation".

(2) If section 12 of this Act commences before section 12 or 14 of the
Telecommunications Amendment Act 1988, the Telecommunications (Interception)
Act 1979 has effect, after the commencement of section 12 of this Act and
until the commencement of section 12 or 14 of that second-mentioned Act, as if
paragraph (b) of the definition of "officer of the Commission" were amended by
omitting "or employee".
