PUBLIC SERVICE AMENDMENT ACT 1978 No. 170, 1978 - SECT 51
Chairman of Appeal Board under Principal Act to continue in office as Chairman of Disciplinary Appeal Board
51. A person holding office immediately before the date fixed under
sub-section 2 (2) as a Chairman of an Appeal Board constituted under
sub-section 55 (5) of the Public Service Act 1922 shall, for the purposes of
the Principal Act, as amended by this Act, be deemed to have been appointed as
a Chairman of a Disciplinary Appeal Board constituted under sub-section 63E
(2) of the Principal Act as so amended and shall, subject to the Principal Act
as so amended, continue to hold office for the balance of the term for which
he was appointed.
