Constitution and role of SES
- (1)
- The Senior Executive Service consists of the SES employees.
- (2)
- The function of the SES is to provide a group of APS employees each of
whom, within his or her Agency:
- (a)
- provides one or more of the following at a high level:
- (i)
- professional expertise;
- (ii)
- policy advice;
- (iii)
- management; and
- (b)
- promotes co-operation with other Agencies; and
- (c)
- by personal example and other appropriate means, promotes the APS Values
and compliance with the Code of Conduct.
