PRICES SURVEILLANCE ACT 1983 No. 145, 1983 - SECT 40

PART IV-MISCELLANEOUS

40. (1) A prosecution for an offence against this Act shall be instituted only
in the Federal Court of Australia.

(2) Jurisdiction is conferred on the Federal Court of Australia with respect
to offences against sections 22, 24, 27, 32, 35, 36 and 43.

(3) The jurisdiction of the Federal Court of Australia under this section may
be exercised by a single Judge.

(4) A prosecution for an offence against this Act shall not be instituted
except with the consent in writing of the Minister.
