PRICES SURVEILLANCE ACT 1983 No. 145, 1983 - SECT 38

38. (1) A member, or a member of the staff of the Authority, may inspect
documents-

   (a)  furnished to the Authority for the purposes of the exercise of its
        powers or the performance of its functions under this Act; or

   (b)  produced at an inquiry,
and may make copies of, or take extracts from, those documents.

(2) An associate member may inspect documents-

   (a)  furnished to the Authority for the purposes of the exercise of its
        powers or the performance of its functions under this Act in relation
        to the inquiry for the purposes of which the associate member was
        appointed; or

   (b)  produced at that inquiry,
and may make copies of, or take extracts from, those documents.

(3) Documents furnished or produced as mentioned in sub-section (1) or (2) may
be retained by the Authority for such reasonable period as the Authority
thinks fit.
