PRICES SURVEILLANCE ACT 1983 No. 145, 1983 - SECT 34

34. (1) In an inquiry, the Authority may take evidence on oath or affirmation
and, for that purpose, a member may administer an oath or affirmation.

(2) The Chairman may, for the purposes of this Act, by writing signed by him,
summon a person to appear at an inquiry to give evidence and to produce such
documents (if any) as are referred to in the summons.

(3) The power conferred on the Chairman by sub-section (2) may, in the
discretion of the Chairman, be exercised on the application of another person.
