PRICES SURVEILLANCE ACT 1983 No. 145, 1983 - SECT 16

16. (1) Subject to this section, the Chairman shall convene such meetings as
he thinks necessary for the efficient performance of the functions of the
Authority.

(2) Meetings shall be held at such places as the Chairman determines.

(3) The Chairman shall preside at all meetings at which he is present.

(4) In the absence of the Chairman from a meeting a member nominated for the
purpose by the Chairman shall preside.

(5) Subject to this Act and to any direction given to the Authority by the
Minister under sub-section 18 (4), the member presiding at a meeting may give
directions regarding the procedure to be followed at or in connection with the
meeting.

(6) At a meeting-

   (a)  3 members form a quorum;

   (b)  all questions shall be decided by a majority of votes of the members
        present and voting; and

   (c)  the member presiding has a deliberative vote and, in the event of an
        equality of votes, also has a casting vote.

(7) The Authority shall keep records of its meetings.
