PROTECTION OF THE SEA (OIL POLLUTION COMPENSATION FUND) ACT 1993 No. 41, 1993 - SECT 2

2.(1) Chapters 1, 2 and 4 commence on a day to be fixed by Proclamation. The
day must not be earlier than the day on which the 1971 Convention enters into
force for Australia.

(2) Part 3.1 commences on a day to be fixed by Proclamation. The day must not
be earlier than the day on which Australia's denunciation of the 1971
Convention takes effect.

(3) Chapter 3 (other than Part 3.1) commences on a day to be fixed by
Proclamation. The day must not be earlier than the day on which the 1992
Protocol enters into force for Australia.
