PROHIBITION OF HUMAN CLONING ACT 2002 No. 144, 2002 - SECT 26

Regulations
(1)
The Governor-General may make regulations prescribing matters:

(a)
required or permitted by this Act to be prescribed; or
(b)
necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying out or giving effect to this Act.
(2)
Before the Governor-General makes regulations under this Act, the Minister must be satisfied that:

(a)
the States have been consulted in relation to the proposed regulations; and
(b)
the proposed regulations have been prepared having regard to views expressed by the States in those consultations.
