PROHIBITION OF HUMAN CLONING ACT 2002 No. 144, 2002 - SECT 26
Regulations
- (1)
- The Governor-General may make regulations prescribing matters:
- (a)
- required or permitted by this Act to be prescribed; or
- (b)
- necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying out or giving effect
to this Act.
- (2)
- Before the Governor-General makes regulations under this Act, the Minister
must be satisfied that:
- (a)
- the States have been consulted in relation to the proposed regulations;
and
- (b)
- the proposed regulations have been prepared having regard to views
expressed by the States in those consultations.
