PIG INDUSTRY ACT 1986 No. 157, 1986 - SECT 9

9. (1) Without limiting the generality of section 8, the Corporation may, for
the purpose of considering any matter relating to the performance of its
functions, make arrangements for consulting persons and bodies representative
of different sectors of the industry.

(2) Arrangements entered into by the Corporation under sub-section (1) in
relation to a consultation may include-

   (a)  the Corporation's agreeing to meet travel expenses reasonably incurred
        by a person in connection with the consultation; and

   (b)  subject to guidelines given to the Corporation by the Minister, the
        Corporation's agreeing to meet expenses, other than travel expenses,
        reasonably incurred in connection with the consultation by an eligible
        industry body or a member of an eligible industry body.
